One onboarding film for a Québec food distributor, rendered twice from a single cut — same footage, same timeline. One render was written for Québec. The other is competent international French. Read what changes.
9 terms a Québec audience registers as foreign

The OQLF term is courriel. On a Québec-facing page, e-mail is the single most-flagged anglicism there is.

Feedback passes unremarked in Paris. In a Québec HR document it reads as untranslated.

The France render leaves the English word in place. A Québec employer would not.

A REER is a specific Canadian instrument. The generic phrasing tells a Québec employee this was written for somewhere else.
